Privacy notice

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This notice explains how we use the information you provide when contacting ExposureIQ.

Who handles your information

ExposureIQ is the trading name of Joe Mitchell. For questions about your information, email hello@exposureiq.co.uk.

Website enquiries

Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, an optional business name and your message. We use this information to respond to your request and discuss whether our service is suitable. We rely on our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries.

Your enquiry is saved in our private enquiry system. Authorised team members can assign it, record follow-up dates and add relevant notes. Email notifications are requested for the team. Your enquiry remains saved if a notification cannot be delivered.

Please do not include passwords, access keys, vulnerability reports or sensitive system information. We can agree a suitable way to exchange service information separately.

How long information is kept

Website enquiry records and their related notes and activity are held for 90 days from the date of the enquiry, then automatically removed from our website enquiry system. You can contact us to ask about the information we hold or request earlier deletion.

Website security

Cloudflare hosts this website and the private enquiry system. Technical information, including your IP address, may be processed to deliver and protect the service. The form uses limited, one-way references to prevent repeated or automated submissions.

The IP reference is used for up to two hours. The email reference expires after two days and the duplicate-message reference after three days; expired references are removed during subsequent form housekeeping. Hosting logs are retained according to the provider's configured retention.

Suppliers and sharing

Cloudflare provides website hosting, enquiry storage and notification delivery. Team mailbox providers process the notification emails and any replies. We use your information for the enquiry and related work, rather than selling it or using it for advertising.

Any device and patch-status data needed for a managed service is considered separately before onboarding, including access, suppliers, processing locations and retention.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion, or raise an objection or concern by emailing hello@exposureiq.co.uk. The rights available depend on the circumstances of the request.

You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
